Dreams from Beyond
I keep a desk calendar at work to document appointments,
birthdays, etc. As I flipped through this in September I came to the
date of October 22nd. I was thinking this date rang a bell with me, but
I couldn't place what it was. I started thinking it was someone's
birthday, or an anniversary, but had no clue. It just seemed like an
important date. At about 4 a.m. on October 22nd I awoke startled. About
a year earlier an aunt had passed away suddenly. She came to me in a
dream. I was in a crowd of people and noticed her in the crowd. When she
looked at me, she smiled and started to speak, but not with her mouth; I
could hear her in my head. She told me she'd been sent to tell me
something important. She said that death was nothing to fear, that there
was an afterlife that was far beyond our imagination. I asked her if she
was trying to tell me I was fixing to die, and she said it wasn't for us
to know when our time would come. She just wanted me to know not to be
sad when a loved one died, that there was something beautiful beyond
this life. At that point I woke up and had a strange feeling that this
was no ordinary dream. I went to work, told my sister and a few
co-workers about the dream. Later that morning I received a phone call
that a good friend of mine who was 29 years old and lived in Hawaii had
suddenly died of a heart attack, and we later found out that he died
approximately the same time I awoke from my dream. To add to the
mystery, later in the afternoon I received a phone call from a friend
who said they had woke up at 4 a.m. (the same time as myself) and had an
unusual feeling that I was going to have a bad experience on October
22nd. I've had other dreams that had meaning or happened, but this was
probably the most unusual one.

Lethal Close
Encounter
My story is fairly short, but true as they come. It
occurred near Atlanta, GA in Chamblee, GA. My mom and I were on our way
home from work at around midnight of '96. She owns a cleaning service
for offices and I helped her out that day which is why were together
that day the last time I ever saw her. When we drive back home we go
through a small road in Chamblee surrounded by little warehouses.
Between each warehouse there is space of about 200 feet. Of course it
was real dark because there are no light posts, so visibility is to a
minimum. When a red light turned green we turned left onto this road. We
were on the road for less than three seconds when I saw a weird
"thing" hovering over the road about 50 feet in ahead of us.
We both saw it going at a speed of 10mi/hr. We decelerated a bit more to
get a better look at it. When we reached the UFO, we saw a couple of
small red and orange lights. The only way I can explain it is that it
looked complicated under it the way it would look to a person looking
under a car who has no idea what it is all about. As soon as we drove
under, it fell right on top of us seeming to kill my mom instantly. I
was not completely aware of what was going on. All I remember is seeing
my mom being dragged out by a completely pitch black figure and then I
was stunned unconscious. The next thing that I remember is waking up in
the hospital. Coming out of the hospital I had a big scar from where I
was stung. The doctors had pulled out a one foot needle, which I kept
and still have. When I went to see the car, it was completely crushed to
a one inch thick piece of scrap metal. Like I said my mom is still
missing, but I don't know how to feel like about that. I believe
"they" are holding back my feelings. A couple of times I have
seen the same thing, but they seem to know when I have a camera or
someone in the car. They never show themselves when I do. I am not
scared of them, so I keep on trying to contact them in some way.
Hopefully, I will be able to get my mother back. The police don't know
what to think about the whole thing. They keep up coming to me to
identify bodies, but I know she's not dead because "they" tell
me. I go anyway just to make sure. I am always right though. The police
tried to accuse me of murder, but it didn't work. There is no evidence
and everything is too strange.

Pendant Possession
My wife borrowed a beautiful cross pendant from one of
her friends. It was pewter with turquoise at the tips. As we all know
turquoise absorbs negative energy. The first day my wife wore the cross,
some strange things happened. That night I went to bed early. My wife
and some of our friends stayed up late. The next morning I was informed
of the nights events. A few of our friends along with my wife are
sensitive to the supernatural. Around 11:30 or so they sensed and evil
presence in the room. It was tormenting all of them. They were all so
frightened by this that none would sleep near the room. As soon as I was
told of this I got the cross, which they had left in the room, and bound
it with the chain. I then closed it in the Bible. Both my family and my
wife's have been known for being very sensitive. Even though we try to
suppress it. I later took it to my mother-in-law for her evaluation. She
was not even able to hold the Bible containing the cross. I experienced
the same sensation along with shortness of breath and chest pains. We
later discovered the previous owner of the cross was a devil worshiper
and was murdered. First his hands were crushed, then pills were shoved
down his throat, and finally his chest was crushed. I felt the last
things he had felt before dying. We continued that night with the
beginnings of a seven day exorcism ritual. We are now one week beyond
the conclusion of the ritual and have had no more unwanted guests.
Although we are fortunate enough to have my deceased dad's spirit with
us. Protecting us

The Feverish Ghost
I have always been able to tell if a house is a
"good" house or not. I have always been able to sense
different kinds of things present in a house. Anyway, we had just bought
our first home. I knew right away that it was a good home. I felt very
protected and invited here. The house itself is one of the oldest houses
in the village. One day, my best friend and I were discussing if I
believed there were ghosts. I said sure. I told her that I have seen a
few on occasion and that they really don't scare me. It's just something
that I got used to. We were sitting at my kitchen table having coffee
when out of the corner of my eye I saw what appeared to be a small child
of about 8-10 wearing a white sleeping gown with a bonnet. She was
crying. I asked my friend if she saw it. She said no, but believed I saw
something because my face was really red. It felt as if I were getting a
fever. I remember the girl saying how hot she was and she wanted her
mom. The next day, my friend and I went to the court house and
investigated who lived here. It turned out that my other neighbor's
relatives owned the house. I asked her about the house and if anyone had
passed away in it. She informed me that her great aunt did. Her great
aunt died of the fever when her mother was away and this happened in the
late 1800's. How old was she? 11. I went home and the next time I saw
the little girl, I told her that her mom was looking for her and to go
toward the light. I assume she has made it. The only thing left is the
scent of flowers every now and again. Needless to say, my best friend is
now a believer.

Lost and Found
When my grandmother was alive, she used to have a strange
thing happen. She would hear a loud knock at the front door in the
middle of the night. When she opened the door, no one would be there.
Within a certain amount of days, I think it was three, someone in the
family would die. My mum's keys would always disappear after grandma
died. She always thought it was grandma. One time we were in the kitchen
and mom was looking for her keys. I was on the phone at the corner of
the kitchen watching her look for them. I saw her put her hand in the
top bowl on the table to see if her keys were in there, where she
usually put them. It was an item that had a large bowl with a long stand
in the middle of it with a smaller bowl on top of the stand. I turned
around and faced the wall, still talking on the phone, while mom went in
the other rooms to look for her keys. She came back in the kitchen and
went back over by the table. I heard the keys jingle and I turned
around, surprised. I asked her where she found them. She said in the top
bowl! Nothing else was in there to hide them, they were not there the
first time and we were the only ones home.

The Ghostly Guest
Room
A few months ago my wife and I decided to buy a house. As
the realtor that we were buying it from was disclosing the criminal
information about it to us, she told us that a young boy had been
strangled to death by an intruder a few years earlier. We thought
nothing of it and bought the house. We did not have use for the room
that the boy had been killed in, so we put a bed in it and used it as a
guest room. However, no matter how high we turned the heat up to it
never got warm. We had a new heater installed and it still would not get
warm. We decided not to worry about it because we didn't use the room.
One day I decided to store my golf clubs in the closet. A few days later
when I went to get them the closet door was broken and the clubs were
scattered around the room. My wife was out of town and we are the only
two living there. Since then we have seen shadows and glimpses of light
all around the house. We also can store nothing in that room or it is
destroyed.

The Phantom
Fireball
Back when I was thirteen years old I lived in a house
that I believed was haunted. Many strange things would happen from time
to time, such as my bedroom light turning on all by itself, or my
television set falling on the floor when nobody was around. One event in
particular stands alone. My brother and I shared the same bedroom and
our beds were across from each other. The closet in the room (which is a
significant part of this story) was centered in between the two beds. It
was around nine o'clock at night and I had just gone to bed. Back then
when I was young I didn't actually go to sleep, I sat up and talked to
my brother or played a game or something. Anyway, My brother was already
in bed and we decided to stay up and talk. We were just talking about
kid stuff, nothing really important. I was sitting on my bed, and he was
sitting on his, and all of a sudden out from the closet came a reddish
orange fireball ! Dead Serious!!!!!! It flew right between the two of us
and hit the wall and disappeared. To this day I do not know what it was.
I have told this story to a lot of my friends and most of them think
that maybe it was some sort of a firecracker. That is not true because I
have never kept firecrackers in the house. My father's explanation for
this is "ball lightning". I don't know, but I do know that it
was very frightening at the time.
